Lost Lands 8 is about Puzzles, Hidden Objects, and Single-player Detective gameplay, released by Five-BN Games for Mobile Devices. The plot focuses on an artifact found on Earth that Interferes with Susan’s life, forcing her to embark on other epic adventures. There are dozens of beautiful locations to explore and various mini-games to play. When examining the land, you will encounter a captivating cast of characters who might help you complete complicated quests. Besides, the story focuses on a female character “Susan” who decides to embark on an epic journey to restore the land after bringing peace back to the Lost Lands. Now, Susan had become a mother as well as a grandmother.

Moreover, the player assumes the role of the female character, who needs to find a way to unfold the story and reveal the mysterious curse with the help of the Lost Lands Inhabitants. Before playing the game, you must improve your detective and puzzle-solving skills because the game doesn’t introduce any system to help you learn what to find next; therefore, your skills are only your weapon. Apart from that, the game features a hint system to help you reveal the difficult item during the gameplay; however, it may cost you in-game currency.

The game spans several tasks, each offering you a different objective. Task 1 – Find Maaron

Your first objective is “Find Maaron,” You must tap the door first to start your investigation. When starting the game, you can accept the tutorial to see how it works or reject it, relying on your detective and puzzle-solving skills.

• First, pick up Gardening Scissors from the left side and keep them on your list.

• Second, examine the pot in the branches near the house and use the Gardening Scissors to remove the branches.
• Third, interact with some items and click on the pot to lift it to discover a key.

• Select the key from the panel and use it to unlock the door. Next, you can press the door to move between locations.

Enter the House

You are in a House where it seems Maaron hasn’t been visited for a long time.

Task 2 – Find a Rune for the Dolmen

• Tap the painting above the fireplace to discover a Gear and read a note nearby.

• Examine the chair near the window, lift the seat to get an Owl, and keep it on your list.

• Head to the table, collect a Knife from the spot, and keep it on your list.

• Now, tap the window on the right side to discover coals and get them aside to find a Kyoll. Before leaving the spot, don’t forget to collect Colored Glass.

• Hit the back button and tap the fish painting on the right side. Use Colored Glass to discover the following things: Snakeskin, Poppy Seed, and Pearl.

• Examine the fireplace, use the poker to search for the coin, and pick it up from the spot.

• Here you should remember that the item with the “+” symbol is interactable with another one in the panel; however, you can click on the item to open a zoomed view.

• Tap the coin to open the zoom view and click on the wire to remove it. After that, tap the rug on the floor and discover a trapdoor.

• Use the wire to bring a Detail out from the floor crack near the trapdoor.

Leave the House

• Hit the back button to leave the house and search for other hidden items outside.

• Now, you are out of the house, and your goal is to examine the Tree Stump and discover 2 Puppy Seeds from two spots, as shown in the image.

• Afterward, tap the birdhouse near the gate and use the Detail to unlock the door.

• You will discover a Promotion Letter and Star and Gear as the door opens.

• Head to your Panel, select the Coin, and tap on it to get the second kyoll.

• Tap the gate, use the knife to remove the cover, and place both gears to run a mini-game.

• Your goal is to open the lock’s bolt by moving the latches.

• Once you solve the puzzle, the gate gets opened.

• Go through the gate and tap a boy near the cart to ask about Maaron.

Help the Halfling

• First, head to the stick near the house and collect some steps.

• Following the pathway, click the bucket on the left side and collect the rope from nearby.

• Tap the sack on the floor to collect grain and keep it in your inventory.

• Afterward, interact with the door and tap on its lock to open it. Go through the door and offer the grain to bring the Chickens.

• Enter the house again to discover a note from the nest. Before leaving the house, don’t forget to pick up a Wheel from the upper shelf.

• During the gameplay, you can interact with a map that lets you move between locations, including Plains, Academy of Magicians, Fugo Islands, Darkwoods, Centaur Village, and Keremeos.

• Leave the house and come out to repair the wheel. First, you must select the wheel from your panel and attach it to the cart.

• Select the hook from near the cart and put it into the wheel. Pick up a stone from the ground and fix the wheel.

• After that, tap the back button to return to the last location and tap the ladder near the house.

• Select steps from your list and place them on the ladder using the rope.
• Climb the ladder to enter the house and start finding hidden objects, including Hare, Compass, Apple, and more.

• Once you find all hidden objects, the game adds a Needle with thread to your list.

• Tap the pathway to reach the second location and click on the sack. Once you open the zoom view, use the Needle with Thread to sew the bag.

• Put the sack on the cart to complete the task – Help the Halfling.

Lost Lands 8 is full of thrilling scenes and fabulous locations to explore. Although the game features similar gameplay to Lost Lands 7, the story and locations are entirely different, while the mechanics are the same. When finding solutions to tricky puzzles, you can enjoy a well-written storyline and find rare items to unlock achievements.
